The million dollar company, Portillo's is making its way to Wheaton, IL. With under 40 locations in the US, the company is expanding to our neighborhood in order to please the many hungry customers in the Chicagoland area.
Town Dwellers are ecstatic. Lisa Marian, a resident of Wheaton for over 40 years recounts her emotion after hearing the news of the store's Grand Opening. She stated, I have been a fan of Portillo’s my entire life; I practically lived off of their roast beef and fries as a kid. I jumped up and down once I heard that a Portillo’s was opening up so close to home. This will be a milestone in our town's history.
The Wheaton location of Portillo’s will be located off of Roosevelt road and Trenton street. The Grand Opening is set to be on November 16, 2017. The hours of the store have not yet been released, but check Portillo’s website, http://www.portillos.com/ for more details.
